Projects for the Development of the Gas Transmission System of the Republic of Uzbekistan
In order to commission new capacities and carry out the modernization and capital rehabilitation of existing facilities to ensure the required overall throughput capacity of the Gas Transmission System (hereinafter referred to as the “GTS”), Uztransgaz JSC is undertaking organizational measures aimed at the development of the GTS through 2030 by implementing a number of projects, including the modernization of the Zirabulak and Yangiyer Compressor Stations.
1. Modernization of the Zirabulak Compressor Station
The objectives of the Project are to:
- increase operational reliability;
- improve energy efficiency and overall performance;
- ensure stable and uninterrupted transportation of natural gas.
The modernization of the Zirabulak Compressor Station is planned to be carried out through the replacement of obsolete and worn-out equipment with modern energy-efficient equipment.
2. Modernization of the Yangiyer Compressor Station
The objectives of the Project are to:
- increase operational reliability;
- improve energy efficiency and overall performance;
- ensure stable and uninterrupted transportation of natural gas.
The modernization of the Yangiyer Compressor Station is planned to be carried out through the replacement of obsolete and worn-out equipment with modern energy-efficient equipment.
