Uztransgaz JSC summed up the results of activities in 2022
The Uztransgaz Joint Stock Company has done a number of works in 2022 as part of the localization and import substitution program, to introduce renewable energy sources and create new infrastructure, to attract foreign investment.In particular, within the framework of the localization project, 31.5 tons of electrode UONI 13/55 were produced in the amount of 623.7 million soums, the plan was fulfilled by 105.9 percent.
In order to save energy resources through the development of renewable energy resources, solar photovoltaic panels with a total capacity of 408 kW/h, 650 motion sensors and 2,235 street lamps equipped with solar panels were installed at 17 facilities of Uztransgaz JSC. 157 solar water heaters with a total volume of 30,500 liters have been installed. As a result, an average of 1,865 million kW/h of electricity was saved in 2022.
The volume of investments with the participation of foreign companies amounted to 268.7 million US dollars. The annual plan to attract foreign investment has been fulfilled by 161%.
In addition, a project is underway to build 511 km of the main gas pipeline, as well as another 10 gas pipelines as part of a modernization program to improve the efficiency of the country's main natural gas transmission system. The total cost of the project is $485.9 million.
In 2022, 490.8 km of steel pipelines were supplied under this project, of which 387.6 km were welded. 156.5 km of pipelines were reconstructed, 221.8 km of new main networks were laid, 9.3 km of pipeline networks were overhauled.
To fulfill its obligations to the state and society, Uztransgaz paid to the state budget, as well as special funds, a total of 3 trillion 23 billion 199 million 500 thousand soums. During the reporting period, 144 new jobs were created at the enterprises of the company.
